Information you provide
The referral form collects your name, phone number, area, project type and your agreement to share the request. Email and project details are optional. Please do not include sensitive personal information, access codes or information about another person without permission.
How we use and share requests
We use the information to review and respond to your request and seek an independent electrical contractor connection. We may share the request and contact details with a contractor so they can discuss the project with you. Contractors are separate businesses with their own privacy practices. VoltWise may receive compensation for referrals.
Form processing and hosting
The website is hosted on Netlify and uses Netlify Forms to process submissions. The hosting provider may process technical information needed to operate and secure the site. Access to request information is used for handling inquiries and administering the service.
Measurement and browser storage
We have not enabled Google Analytics or advertising trackers in this version of the website. The site may temporarily store the landing-page path and referring website hostname in your browser session to help identify how a request arrived. Those values, the submission page and a request reference can be included with the form. They do not contain browsing history outside this site.
Retention and requests about your information
Request records may be retained to handle inquiries, maintain business records and address disputes or legal requirements. Use the contact form and state that your message concerns privacy to ask about access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify a request before acting on it. Do not include identity documents in the initial message.

Official resources and other linked sites have their own policies. We may update this policy when the website or referral process changes. The updated date identifies the latest version.
